Bling Bling
As I did this post I couldn't get the song "Bling Bling" outta my head! Yes in 8th grade I listened to rap haha it lasted only a short time and at 27 I am officially old because it gives me a headache now. ANYWAYS...looking at bridal jewelry is one of my favorites but I do have to say it is a little bit of a hunt. When I got married finding jewelry was a little difficult, the fake, small, and plastic was NOT the look I was going for. When you spend hundreds of dollars on your dress you don't want to be wearing jewelry that looks like it came from Claires. If you live in the Columbus area try checking out some of the boutiques in the Short North for unique pieces but if you are specifically wanting bridal try Le Juene Marie or Bella Laccio. Here are a few of my favorite pieces that are accessible to everyone online.
Can you tell I like big pieces? I would wear these out on the town too : )
This well known designer has some spectacular bridal pieces. The Tejani website has choices for every style. Tejani also offers great pieces for everyone in your bridal party. To add "icing" on the cake, I found you a discount code (yay!) If you order between now and December 31st 2011 online use the code SMPNY10 to receive 10% off your purchase *excludes sale and bridesmaid.
I've already been a bride but I don't care I want this necklace!! Check out all of liz law pieces to have a unique piece on your wedding day.
Kristin Morris Jewelry gotta love chunky pieces. Would look AH-maze with a simple strapless gown. It is crazy how much a statement piece can add to your look.

Re-Launching
I've been waiting awhile to share this news with all of you, we are re-vamping MMJ Events!! This is an extra exciting time for me. 2010 was a very difficult time for me personally and after doing my weddings for that year I made the difficult decision to take some time off. I knew it wasn't the best business decision since my business was already new but it was something I felt I had to do for myself and any clients I would have had. It ended up working out all for the best. Now more than ever I realize that I love helping people plan their weddings and special events, God has given me this passion and I'm going to use it. I have already began bookings for 2012 and with the fresh new start I thought why not a fresh new look and new services? So within the next month (fingers crossed) we will be re-launching with a new logo, website, blog, twitter, and services. I am so excited I can hardly stand it.

Happy Anniversary!!
With the craziness of the holiday weekend, we forgot our couple Bryan and Rose a happy one year anniversary this past Sunday!
Bryan and Rose were such an amazing couple to work with. Their Macedonian wedding at the Renaissance is one of my favorite weddings I've done. There was so much entertainment with the Macedonian band, dances, and my first witness to the pig dance. I loved Rose's style which always makes things more enjoyable.
Happy Anniversary you guys, wishing you years of happiness and marriage bliss!!
XO
