Favorite Wedding Websites

If I got paid by the hour for looking at wedding websites I would have more money then Oprah and Mark Zuckerberg combined. It's like an addiction for me that has no cure (not that I would want it if there was). Looking at different weddings, trends, dresses, and ideas makes my heart happy. Since I spend so much time doing this I thought I would share the love and pass on a few of my favorites this year.

**Warning: I cannot be held responsible for any addiction you may catch while looking at these sites : )

http://www.oncewed.com/ does an amazing job at showcasing weddings, tablescapes, and DIY. They have also just launched their redesigned site for even more online inspiration.

Lets be honest the Queen of all wedding websites has to be http://www.stylemepretty.com/
This site has become part of my daily routine.

If you want to look at photos from weddings in from france to Cabo to N. Carolina then check out the photography portfolio of Elizabeth Messina. http://www.elizabethmessina.com/

Elizabeth Messina also started a blog which i'm a fan of at http://www.kissthegroom.com/
I could look at the archives forever!

Good luck trying to get off this one www.elizabethanndesigns.com/blog/

Coasters

Came across these coasters from Rock Scissor Paper. I love all the different designs. Why not add your wedding colors to your cocktail hour with these stylish coasters. The graphic, colorful coasters will hold up for multiple uses (with the thickness of cardboard).

Cookie Bar

I have a sweet tooth if you couldn't tell from my cupcake and now cookie posts. Cookies have been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I do have to admit though, baking does not run in my family. My great-grandma use to buy store bought cookies and hide them in the microwave, which I quickly discovered.
I decided to overcome the family stereotype and try again this year and......no luck! They were so flat! Why does that happen? Oh well, I've accepted my lack of skill in the baking department and appreciate the work Pillsbury does for me.

Whether store bought, a roll, or homemade cookies are fantastic. Why not have them at your next party or wedding? They can be guest favors or served as a mid-night snack. There are so many cute ways to display your cookie bar so make it fun!!

Love this idea for favors.
All the ingredients are ready to go for your guests to make
individual cookies.

First look of Nicole and Joel's wedding photos!!

Not sure why a German magazine got the first pictures of Nicole Richie and Joel Maddens wedding but I'm not complaining because they are out YAY!!

Nicole looks gorgeous in her lace, tulle, and organza Marchesa gown. She said she was inspired by the one Grace Kelly wore in her wedding to the Prince Rainier of Monaco.

A little grainy from the magazine (out tomorrow) but I'll take it

 Love this!

Guest Blogger: Zeta from Kewpie Dolly

Hi, I'm Zeta Pongonis, and I am the face behind Kewpie Dolly accessories. I specialize in custom hair pieces and fascinators for all occasions, as well as handmade jewelry. My pieces are most commonly comprised of real antique brooches, real feathers, leather, old earrings, and other broken jewelry that I re-purpose into fresh new looks. I love thrifting and antiquing to find the right pieces for my creations. I also love to work with brides, because I am creating for a subject in mind, and it's a great challenge to channel someones personality into a piece using flowers, colors or personal keepsakes. Most often the wedding veil is removed after the ceremony, so it's great to have another option for adorning the brides hair throughout the whole evening. I have even worked with bridesmaids to make matching feather fascinates to their dresses.

I sell at 3 Boutique in Powell, Milk Bar in the Short North, and I also have an etsy account at,www.etsy.com/kewpiedolly Come check me out, or hit me up for a custom piece!

As you can see I had a chance to model for Zeta's pieces
and I can tell you first hand they are all fabulous! -M

Coffee and Chocolate cupcakes YUM!

Three of my favorite C's combined into one; Chocolate, Coffee, and Cupcakes YUMMY! If you incorporating coffee bean favors or having a coffee bar why not add these cupcakes to add to your theme. I can promise I am not the only female who is obsessed with these great combos. I'm also not going to lie I think it's okay to eat these for breakfast too but this is coming from someone who sometimes has cookie dough and a diet at 9 a.m (yep i'm a health nut)

Iced appetizers for the winter wedding

Love this idea from Martha Stewart. For a winter reception that goes with theme of the weather, create an ice bar and serve whimsical individual-serving appetizers, such as clams and oysters on the half shell.
